beta - if youve called steve and hes given you the all clear, its fine to walk past the no trespassign signs through his property. no need to bush bash as we did great condis and happy times, simuled first 100m or so then megapitched it out. just about 6h climbing including a bit of waiting for other parties and <2h for the descent with one rope

wow dont know if i missing something but felt pretty hard. maybe this is jsut gorge sport climbing

escaping from the cell was the highlight, but subsequent jumps over the encircling fences were also satisfying. im a free woman! but also was the last climb before returning to normal life so in some sense i am the opposite

contender for fave route of the trip. funky positions, steepness with nice gear and rests

strange rock on P1, like a bomber version of flight of the phoenix in the bungles. loved the exciting nature of both pitches!!

lead as one pitch. very nice, big steep jugs. thought the start was pretty chill and that the exciting bits were higher up!

lead P2. good fun for our first sunset climb back at araps

absolutely mega first pitch! was a bit of a gumby adventure, didnt bring enough bolt plates and had to bail after P1 when a storm rolled in. finally had to suffer the pierces pass bail walk out. wasnt nearly as bad as i thought (about 2.5-3h)

watched mira do the first few moves but im probs happy to call this an o/s. been frothing to do this crack since i first set eyes on it a month ago. I was dreaming of its clean aesthetic line while on chossventure rambles in the bungles. was more streno than anticipated (i was hoping to be able to jam most of it but sadly i had to layback). really enjoyed it

bloody great route. simul'd the first 3 pitches in one pitch which worked quite well, though P3 was quite intimidating on first glance. hayden kindly offered me the lead for the crux pitch (P4) which i decided to make even cruxier for myself by traversing much too far L after stepping to the other side of the arete off the belay. I reckon you probably need to go like 2m, not 6-8m. The boulder I used at the top of this pitch to belay turned out not to be as bomber as it looked, i managed to shift it a bit with body weight afterwards. beware! P6 is the most improbable looking choss pile I have ever had the pleasure of climbing, which turns out to not be as much of a choss pile as it appears. anyways, got to the top and thought the fun was over but it had only just begun!

very committing at the fourth bolt! loved the super delicate arete/face climbing

dodgy rock for the first 10m I'd say... the jamming is good though, and the position is fantastic

The middle.section w the crisp corner crack is the money! So rad. The desperate and ugly start is the price to pay

rad! crack city. looking at my two rattly fist jams as I transitioned to the vertical crack i had a real "how did i get here" moment. fine with one #4
